Insurance is a wise investment. Anything could happen during your stay in the UK and you will save a lot of trouble by being prepared.

Contents insurance is different from travel insurance. This will cover the value of your possessions in your student house, halls or homestay accommodation, in case they get damaged or stolen.

Imagine how much you would spend if you had to replace everything: your laptop, phone, clothes and books. It's cheaper to buy insurance!

Health insurance will cover you for medical treatment during your stay in the UK. You may already be eligible for some treatments. To find out more, click here.

  • Remember to get travel insurance if you are travelling around.
  • Ask your UK bank if they offer contents insurance, or research different offers on the internet. Try www.moneysupermarket.com
