Lots of parks and green spaces – Holyrood Park, The Meadows, Princes Street Gardens, The Water of Leith, Calton Hill, Arthur’s Seat, to name just a few – for more details see: http://www.edinburghguide.com/parks

 

Art Galleries and Museums – there are 5 National Art Galleries - http://www.nationalgalleries.org/, and 2 National Museums - http://www.nms.ac.uk/, in Edinburgh.   There are also many council run galleries and museums - http://www.cac.org.uk/, and countless independent arts venues.

 

Cinemas and Theatres – Edinburgh has many cinemas - http://www.edinburghguide.com/film.  Most offer the latest Hollywood blockbusters but the Cameo in Tollcross and the Film House on Lothian Road specialise in alternative, obscure, arty and international films.  Edinburgh also has many theatres - http://www.edinburghtheatres.com/ - and a lively performing arts culture.

Our communications will cover topical news. Additionally we work with a small number of 'carefully selected partners' to negotiate and communicate promotions. These promotions align with UNIAID's Mission to help young people overcome financial hurdles to higher education. These hurdles can include any essential or relevant cost: accommodation, books and equipment, clothes, travel, leisure, insurance etc.. UNIAID aims to help people overcome these hurdles by brokering discounts and offers to students. There will be no more than one communication per month to subscribers.
